Beneficial bacteria does not die back, reducing start up problems in the spring
You can enjoy your hobby year round.
A heater on a quarantine system will help show any problems new koi may have, hence your existing koi are less likley to be put in danger by adding fish of an unknown background.
As a general guidline, 1KW of heating is required for every 1000 Gallons of water.
Please be aware that any heater over 3KW or rated at 13 Amps will require instalation by a qualified elecrician.
